This is an editorial in the February 2023 issue of AJTCVM on 'Benefits of Perioperative Acupuncture – One Health Intersection of Animals and Humans.'

Rodgersia sambucifolia a herbaceous perennial originating from East Asia, has demonstrated bacteriostatic and antiviral properties. This study experimented for effective extraction procedures for isolating bacteriostatic and antivirals from it.
